Cat foods that harm and may cause death 

Tuna
Cats can be addicted to tuna, whether it is packaged for cats or for humans .giving  some tuna from time to time is not likely to harm, but feeding them tuna intended for humans can lead to malnutrition; Because it does not contain all the nutrients that cats need. besides, excessive consumption of tuna can cause mercury poisoning.

Onions and garlic
Onions in all its forms: chopped, raw, cooked, or dried may destroy red blood cells in cats, leading to anemia. Occasionally, a small dose may not cause any harm, But eating a large amount at once or eating smaller amounts regularly can cause onion poisoning. In addition to onions, garlic can cause intestinal disorders.

Milk and dairy products
What is wrong with providing a bowl of milk or a piece of cheese to your cat? Most cats are allergic to lactose.
A cat's digestive system cannot handle dairy products, and the result may be a digestive disorder and diarrhea.



Grapes and raisins
Grapes and raisins are often used as candy for pets, But it is not a good idea.
Although the cause is not clear, grapes and raisins can cause kidney failure in cats. A small amount can make a cat ill.
Frequent vomiting and hyperactivity are an early sign. Although some cats do not show any bad effects, it is best not to give your cat grapes, so it is better to keep grapes and raisins away from your cat by avoiding putting them in an easy to reach places like the desk or tables.



Caffeine
Large amounts of caffeine can be fatal to your cat because there is no antidote to that. Symptoms of caffeine poisoning include insomnia, rapid breathing, heart palpitations, and muscle twitching.
In addition to tea and coffee, either cereal or ground caffeine can be found in cocoa, chocolate, cola, and stimulant drinks such as Red Bull. It is also found in some cold medicines and pain relievers.

Chocolate
Chocolate can be fatal to cats. Although most cats will not eat them on their own, owners and others who think they are giving them candy may persuade them to eat them. The toxin in chocolate is known as theobromine. It is present in all types of chocolate, even white chocolate. But there are more dangerous types like dark chocolate.  eating chocolate may cause heart rhythm disorder, shivering, seizure, and death.

Pieces of fats and bone
Table scraps often contain bone and fat removed from the meat. Fats and bones may be dangerous for cats whether is cooked or uncooked,  it can cause cats intestinal disturbances, vomiting, and diarrhea. The cat may suffocate due to the bone. The bone may also fragment, cause a blockage, or injure the inner part of your cat's digestive system.

Raw eggs
There are two problems with serving raw eggs to cats; The first is the possibility of food poisoning from bacteria such as Salmonella or E. coli. The second problem is a rare problem. The protein in raw egg whites, called avidin, may interfere with the absorption of vitamin B-biotin, This may cause skin problems as well as problems with the cat's scalp.

Raw meat and fish
Raw meat and fish are like raw eggs,  they can contain bacteria that cause food poisoning. in addition to this, an enzyme found in raw fish damages thiamine, which is essential for your cat. Thiamine deficiency causes serious neurological problems and leads to convulsions and coma.



Dog food
A casual bite of dog food will not harm your cat,  But dog food is not a substitute for cat food. The two have a lot of similar components,  But cat food is specially formulated to meet the cat's needs, which include more protein as well as some vitamins and fatty acids.

Liver
Small amounts of liver are okay, but eating too much liver can cause vitamin A poisoning. It is a serious condition that can affect your cat's bones, Symptoms include bone deformation, bone growth on the elbows, spine, and osteoporosis. Vitamin A poisoning can also cause death.

Excessive food
Eating a lot of foods can often affect both humans and cats in the same way, as it can lead to obesity and even diabetes.

Dough yeast
Before putting it in the oven, the baking dough needs to rise. This is exactly what it would do with your cat's stomach if he ate it.
When inflated indoors, the dough can extend the stomach and cause severe pain. In addition, when the yeast ferments the dough to lift it, it will produce alcohol that may lead to alcohol intoxication.

Human medicine
Among the most common causes of cat poisoning is taking the medication prescribed to humans. Just as you do with your children, store all medications in a place where a cat cannot reach. Never give your cat any medication without a prescription unless advised by the vet. Ingredients such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen are common in analgesics and cold medications, and they may be fatal to your cat.
