And given that competition among flat-screen makers is pushing those companies to release bigger devices to attract buyers, the size of the boxes used to package and wrap TVs has increased, leaving a lot of cardboard waste to be thrown away.
To this end, Samsung makes it easy to recycle its hardware bins by offering cardboard boxes perforated in the form of a dot matrix, which makes it easy to cut the box and reassemble it in other shapes.
There is a QR code on the boxes that can be scanned with a mobile device to access the instruction manual, Turn cardboard boxes into magazine shelves, tables, or a pet house.
