Video emerged of a Siamese cat rescuing a toddler, in his first year, from falling from the top of stairs.
In the video clip, the child crawls towards the open door in a direction of 12 steps down, but the cat is alerted to jump suddenly as he stood facing the open door that leads to the bottom of the stairs and grabbed the child by his clothes to stop him from heading directly towards the stairs.
The story that occurred in Colombia quickly spread on social media, as the child's mother later posted a picture of the "hero" cat and the dangerous stairs.
